Become A Travel Nurse For Fun And Fat Pay Checks

If you are a RN, LPN, or LVN, you may want to consider being a Travel Nurse.

They are generally employed or recruited by Travel Nursing Agencies. A Travel Nurse takes temporary nursing assignments across the country and internationally to fill staff positions, frequently in critical care settings, cruise ship work, quality management and other special projects, Indian reservations and others rural settings.

Being a Travel Nurse provides diversity, opportunity to travel, often to exotic locations, with paid expenses.

However, there can be drawbacks to this very high paying profession. A few major concerns are: Often little or no orientation time at new location, moving from place to place every 3 months on average, ongoing issues of obtaining licensure, paying taxes and other minor concerns.

Desirable skills: Good clinical foundation. For clinical positions, critical care background desirable as many positions are in critical care. Adaptable, flexible, ability to easily make friends and get along with people.

Pay can range anywhere from $800.00 to over $3,000.00 a week with all travel expenses, lodging, etc… paid.

If you hold a degree, certification, and license as a RN, LPN, or LVN… then you’ve already met the general education requirements, and you’re ready to go.
